Christians, we are not of this world.  So, politics and opinions about abortion don’t have to do with God and what we should be standing for.

For those of you who believe that God gave the okay to abort a child, I have news for you – it is murder.  God said in the ten commandments – ‘You shall not murder’ – in Exodus chapter twenty verse thirteen.  God is about all human lives (including babies in the womb).  He created all humans.  He knows each child’s destiny before it is even conceived.  He commanded Adam and Eve, along with Noah’s family, to populate the Earth.

Why do some of you Christians support abortion?  Why would you drive others to the abortion clinic to kill an unborn baby? There are other options.

Each child created is used for the glory of God.  Major events in history happened because a child grew up to make a major impact in, for example, medicine.

Remember Abraham was promised by God many descendants as numerous as the stars and that they would have the country Canaan (in Genesis chapters twelve and seventeen).  Abraham was promised a son twenty-five years before he was born.  The child was born when he was one hundred years old.  Abraham’s great-grandchildren went to Egypt during the famine.  His great-grandson Joseph was governor at the time of the famine.  God had used him to interpret dreams for the Egyptian pharaoh and gained his favor.  Joseph was put in charge of stocking up the food for the seven years of plenty and selling it to the people during the famine (in Genesis chapters thirty-seven, and forty-one through forty-seven). Their descendants were slaves before God used Moses to lead them out of Egypt.

Can you imagine what would have happened if Isaac was never born?  Can you imagine what would have happened if God didn’t grant Jacob favor after he betrayed his brother and their father?  Can you imagine if he never married Leah and Rachel – two of the mothers of the tribes of Israel?  Most of the world’s history wouldn’t have happened.  God had a hand in all of what happened in Abraham’s family.  He gave many blessings to His people, even though they didn’t deserve it.  Every country knew of God’s hand in what happened with the Israelites.

If you are considering an abortion, have you prayed about it?  Have you thought about the consequences your actions would bring on you?  Have you thought about God’s reaction to your choice?  Daughter of the Most High God – please consider your relationship with God first.  Sin is likely the reason you are in this situation.  Each child born is a blessing.

Son of the Most High God – please consider the lady’s feelings while pushing for an abortion.  Consider the consequences of your part in the decision.  Please think about your relationship with God.

There are also mental and emotional consequences to an abortion.  If you are already emotionally hurt by your choices or past trauma, please find a Godly counselor or a therapist to help you heal so you won’t make any other ill-advised choices in your life.

The devil is using abortions to stop what can happen if God’s plans for each child come to pass.

Adoption is an option.  The Egyptian pharaoh’s daughter raised Moses.  She heard him cry in the river.  Moses’ mom had put him in a basket to save his life.  The pharaoh had asked for the Israelite baby boys to be killed (Exodus chapter one verses fifteen through chapter two verse six).

Eighty years later, Moses led the Israelites from Egyptian slavery.  Every time God has a plan, the devil uses people to kill to stop His plan.  The same thing happened when Jesus was born.

There is always a choice when it comes to a child in your womb.  The choice to honor God is always the right choice.
