God created all of us in His image – male and female.  He meant for all men to take the lead over women.  God created all of us and we are good because we were made in His image.

As stated in Genesis chapter one verse twenty-seven (NIV), So God created man in His own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

God knows our destiny before we are born.  He makes no mistakes. Men – you were made a male.  Women – you were made a female. God created your gender from the day of conception.  You were put on earth to fulfill God’s purpose.  There is no confusion with God.  There is holiness in God’s plan.  He has nothing but good things for your life.

As stated in Jeremiah chapter twenty-nine verse eleven, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 

To those of you who are confused about who you are – God knows who you are.  As a Christian, you have the Holy Spirit.  You are beautiful in God’s sight because He forgave your sins when you accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior; you were baptized in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

One verse in the Bible touched on God’s thoughts on what clothes we wear.  In Deuteronomy chapter twenty-two verse five: A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this. 

As you know, our feelings are deceptive.  What feels good for us isn’t necessarily good for us.  For us who love God, we know that there are reasons why God asked us not to do something.

How can we love others as we love ourselves when we don’t love ourselves?  God loved us so much that He gave us His begotten Son through His death on the cross and rose Him from the dead three days later for our salvation.  He loved us because of the fact He created us.  God hates sin.

We as Christians need to love ourselves in the way that God loves us.  What do we do to get to that place?  We need to study the word of God (the Bible) to find out what He says about us.  We need to spend time with God in prayer and meditation.  When we do these things, we can discern from God how He loves us and what qualities a Christian has.

If you are struggling to understand who you are as a Christian in this world, God will lead you to people who can hold you accountable in your walk and pray with you in your struggle.  Your church family (a church strong in Christian values) can help you when you confess your struggles and pray for you.  There are Christian organizations out there as well that help you address your confusion as well.  

God doesn’t want you to give in to your desire to be a different gender because He made you just the way you were meant to be.  Fair warning, there are evil spirits that are causing many to stumble in their lives because either our families or we expose ourselves to them.
